    Default Genocide in Bangladesh

    Genocide in Bangladesh

    5 May 2013
    By Ajmal Masroor

I have heard of brutality and despotism in various parts of the world but Hasina, the current Prime Ministers of Bangladesh has broken all records. Hasina and her government have committed colossal genocide on Bangladeshi people yesterday. They have massacred countless men in the depth of the night.

Hefazote Islam and its supporters gathered in Dhaka city with the aim of putting extra pressure on the government to end its brutality, human rights abuse, political abduction, extrajudicial execution, aiding and abetting the shahbag secular fundamentalists and thug rule. In response the government gave an ultimatum to the protestors to leave the city by dusk or the government will resort to its tried and tested method of clearing the city.

I have heard of evil dictators attacking their own people but Hasina, an elected parliamentarian and the Prime Minister of one of the most populous Muslim nation in the world has stooped so low that even the evil dictators appear angelic. She massacred her own people while they slept. The protestors gathered in a square as the night fell and began to rest. Some asleep, some engaged in chit chat and some in personal prayers. At around 2.30am, while the protestors were resting and in the depth of the darkness that deepened over the city due to the government turning off the electricity from the entire area, the security forces moved in. What followed is a cold blooded massacre of the protestors. In the darkness all that could be heard are tanks rolling, machine guns firing and people’s last harrowing cry as the bullet pierced their bodies, leaving them dead of injured.

I have heard of Slobodan Milosevic’s mass murder and mass graves in Bosnia but Hasina has gone one step further. Her security forces have simply vanished the bodies of those they have massacred. No one knows how many people have been shot dead by the security services and nobody knows how many people have been injured either. The media organisations that are trusted by the masses of people have been shut down, the remaining media have been given clear instructions to not report or show dead or injured bodies. There has been a total shut down of press freedom and the world does not have a clue as to what unfolded in the Dhaka city last night. This was by the far the worst ever massacre of Bangladeshi people by any elected government.

I hold Hasian and her government directly responsible for this genocide. I call upon every human being in all parts of the world to protest and raise their grave concerns at their local level and their local governments. I call upon our government in the Britain to take immediate action against Bangladeshi government. I call upon all Bangladeshis to boycott all those who support the current government and I call upon the international community to bring to justice the criminal and murderous Hasina and her government urgently.

The current Awami League led government of Bangladesh is completely responsible for a premeditated and calculated slaughter of hundreds of Bangladeshi people. This government has orchestrated mass murder in the last 18 months at a scale that has not been witnessed in Bangladesh since the murders of thousands of Bangladeshis during the 1971 war. Hasina and her thugs have overtaken the brutality of the Pakistani army; they have unashamedly silenced their opposition by taking their lives.

I have always believed that dictators and despots will eventually be brought to justice, either in this world or in the hereafter. They will be brought to justice one day. Hasina and her cronies will find no holes big enough to hide when their tenor ends. They will find no country safe enough to hide when this parliamentary session expired. They will find no friends strong to defend them when the Bangladeshi people try them for crimes against humanity and genocide of Bangladeshi people.

Let me make myself clear, Hasina and Awami League government are the true criminals and they should be tried in the Hague for mass murder.

True picture of what is going on there

Assalamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

Please can you circulate the following and request all your contacts to make dua for Muslims in Bangladesh. They are going through serious crisis.

The BBC article below shows a little bit of what is going on - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-21551603

I would also like to share the true picture of what is going on Inshaa Allah. By Allah, I am a Bangladeshi Muslim living in the UK and feeling really sad and angered at what is happening. I request you all to make dua that Allah destroys the enemies of Islam. Here is a brief from my personal experience and I am available to answer any questions you may have.

Some atheist/apostate bloggers in Bangladesh has insulted Allah Subhanaltala, the prophet (pbuh), the mother of the believers, the companions in the most obscene language possible in popular Bengali blogs and Facebook. I have read some of their writings in Bengali and you can not imagine how filthy these were. Let me just say it will not be exaggeration to say the filthy articles were tens and thousand times worse than the films and cartoons that caused uproar globally. Most of these are so obscene I can not mention them. Comments included things like 'If Allah comes down to save war criminals we will hang Him too' 'Allah smokes marijuana', 'the prophet was a fool, drunk and mad', 'Hajj is a useless waste of money', 'Niqab is worn by prostitutes' used . Most of the article were pornographic in nature! May Allah save us from all evil.

These bloggers are now leading a campaign demanding lynching of the war criminals and has gained support of public in that. However, the true face of these bloggers has come out when some newspapers has published their (bloggers') filthy writings against Islam following the assassination of such a blogger. So general Muslim are coming out to protest. But the government is safeguarding these bloggers and attacking general Muslims for political reasons. Anyone who stands up to defend Islam gets labelled as 'supporter of war criminals' by the government. The police has attacked the processions of Muslims that came out after Jumuah prayers despite crackdown by police and government thugs to block these protest.

My younger brother who is not involved in politics and attends study circles with leading Salafi scholars in Bangladesh, went to join the protests defending Islam and he has seen police shooting at the procession without provocation. People near him got injured. Alhamdulillah still many Muslims are coming out to protest. The government and the majority of media are trying to show this as acts of Islamist/militants etc and are trying to hide the despicable acts of the apostates. Really shocking in a country where Muslims are 90% of the population.

So, please make dua that Allah destroys the enemies of Islam, makes the Muslims firm against these enemies. May Allah purify the aqida of the Muslims in Bangladesh and unite them to defend Islam with all their ability.

    Jazakallahu khair.

Turkey to Bangladesh: Open your doors to Rohingya Muslims, we'll cover all expenses

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has called on Bangladesh to open its doors to Rohingya Muslims fleeing violence in Myanmar's western Rakhine state.

Speaking at a Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Eid al-Adha celebration event in the Mediterranean province of Antalya on Friday, Çavuşoğlu reiterated Turkey's call to Bangladesh to open its doors to Rohingya people, and said that Turkey would pay all the expenses.

"We have also mobilized the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. We will hold a summit regarding the Rakhine state this year. We need to find a decisive and permanent solution to this problem," the minister added.

He said that no other Muslim country other than Turkey is showing sensitivity towards the massacres happening in Myanmar.

In terms of humanitarian aid in the world, Turkey ranks 2nd after the United States with $6 billion and $6.3 billion respectively, Çavuşoğlu added.

Çavuşoğlu's comments and offer comes as President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is holding numerous phone calls with Muslim leaders all over the world to call for intensified efforts to solve the humanitarian crisis in Myanmar. Erdoğan has so far spoken with the heads of states of 13 countries on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and to convey his concerns about the situation in Rakhine.

Çavuşoğlu also reportedly spoke on the phone with former U.N. Secretary General and head of Advisory Commission on Rakhine State Kofi Annan.

Violence erupted in Myanmar's Rakhine state on Aug. 25 when the country's security forces launched an operation against the Rohingya Muslim community. It triggered a fresh influx of refugees towards neighboring Bangladesh, though the country sealed off its border to refugees.

Media reports said Myanmar security forces used disproportionate force, displacing thousands of Rohingya villagers and destroying their homes with mortars and machine guns.

The region has seen simmering tension between its Buddhist and Muslim populations since communal violence broke out in 2012.

A security crackdown launched last October in Maungdaw, where Rohingya make up the majority, led to a U.N. report on human rights violations by security forces that indicated crimes against humanity.

The U.N. documented mass gang-rape, killings -- including infants and young children -- brutal beatings, and disappearances. Rohingya representatives have said approximately 400 people have been slain during the crackdown.

Chapters relating to Jihad removed from Islamic books in Bangladeshi madrasas

The Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board, also known as “Alia Madrasa”, has removed chapters relating to the concept of Jihad from Islamic text books after four decades.

Alia Madrasa Education Board is one of three types of madrasa education system in Bangladesh, alongside Qawmi and Hifz.

Jihad has been defined in madrasa textbooks as a “struggle” or “striving against the enemies of Islam”.

All chapters referring to Jihad will now be removed from the Alia Board’s textbooks, which will be distributed to students in 2018.

The ministry also directed the madrasa board to remove any articles or lessons “contradictory” to the teachings of the Bangladeshi constitution and “the spirit of the nation”.

Sources told the Dhaka Tribune that the “National Committee on Militancy Resistance and Prevention” believes several chapters of the madrasa textbooks could have motivated students to participate in “militant” activities.

Under the circumstances, the Home Ministry sent a letter to the madrasa board in April asking it to remove the chapters from the textbooks that contain lessons about Jihad.

The incitement to militancy claim was refuted by the controller of publication for the Madrasa Education Board, Mohammed Shahjahan.

Mr Shahjahan told the Dhaka Tribune: “We heard that a Home Ministry official made such allegations. However, books used in the initial evaluation were counterfeit textbooks published by a private company and not by the Madrasa Board.

“If a company is publishing guidebooks for madrasa students with text that is not approved by the board, then the liability falls on them and not us.”

Since the inception of the board in 1979, chapters on Jihad were included in the madrasa textbooks from class eight to degree level.
